Management and Lead Technical Design of analog and digital radio frequency products and enterprise solutions for voice and data paging utilizing eLink and Blackberry email messaging, telephone communications, packet LEO satellite, X and Ku-band SATCOM, RFID, packet terrestrial data communicators, IP Mesh Networks, IP Wi-Fi IP bridge networks, and conventional and trunked analog and digital (P-25) LMR. Experience includes antenna design / manufacturing, computer-based electronic physical security, electronic fire detection systems, process control hardware and software, plastic molding machine control, scientific instrumentation environmental data logger’s and RFID systems.

Product Development, Design and Manufacturing of radio pagers receivers, two way radio modems, SATCOM, point to point microwave, custom RF MCM and integrated circuits, antennas, antenna arrays, microcomputers and satellite radio receivers. Responsible for development of ODIN’s RFID test labs and test processes. Managed and executed client RF site surveys, SKU testing and installation / calibration of RFID systems. Developed test methodologies and processes based in the physics of RFID and created means to allow the complexity of RF propagation to be easily visualized by the client.

•Developed frequency dependent SKU testing to determine “RFID readable signature” allowing for optimum RFID tag and tag placement of various material products in boxed packages.

•Developed and constructed “RF sweet spot” testing to determine the RF sensitivity contour for SKU’s.

•Developed Path loss contour test procedures to plot location specific RFID coverage contours for dock door, conveyor and shrink wrap location.

Responsible for Point of Sale and telemetry product development for the Motient’s DataTac terrestrial packet data network. Manage the development and manufacturing coordination for new OEM modem products. Coordinate across locations, project managers with developers/integrators partners to ensure RF network specification and application compliance.

•Delivered ten new enterprise products to the Motient network covering wireless point of sale terminals, security alarm communication, field service hardened computers and vending machine inventory management.

•Delivered two new OEM radio modem suppliers to diversify from a single source and create competitive pricing.

Built and operate a sister company of Cubex, Company, Inc. to design, develop, manufacturer and market cubical antennas for the amateur radio industry at 70cm (440Mhz), 33cm (900 MHz), 23cm(1.2GHZ) and 13cm (2.4GHZ) to serve the LEO-satellite, EME moon bounce, ATV amateur television, and FM/SSB repeater segments of the market.
